Troubleshooting

Browser game not working? Find the stage.

A changed link, a stalled resource load and a graphics error are different problems. Start with the message you can see.

What are you seeing?

Observation steps, not a guaranteed fix.

Check the address first

Compare the address with the dated source record. If a familiar project link now leads to a redirect or unrelated page, stop treating it as the same game entry.

Our Zombies collection identifies two older independent addresses that currently only show a redirect notice.

Review the Zombies link notes

Record the loading message

Write down the project, page address, browser version and the last visible stage. Note whether the progress still changes. Do not turn one slow session into a universal failure claim.

For Kino, we saw graphics preparation as a separate stage before the start prompt. Our checks did not continue into gameplay.

Compare project requirements

Browser API support is only one part of compatibility. The project’s build, device and resource requirements matter as well.

Some issues belong to the project

If a project uses shared memory, it may need secure-context and cross-origin isolation conditions. A player cannot repair the third-party server’s response headers from this guide.

Keep security protections enabled. Report the specific error to the project rather than disabling browser protections.

Common questions

Will these steps fix every black screen?

No. This checklist helps identify a stage and gather useful information; we have not verified a universal fix.

Does a page loading successfully prove the game works?

No. Loading a page, preparing resources, starting the game and verifying gameplay are separate checks.
